We need to modify quotation format according out requirement. Will this considered be as customization?

Accepted Answer

Currently, we have standard formats of quotations available which are developed considering various scenarios in the business. If the current quotation format as required by you matches with the available quotation formats in CRM software with no major customization, then, customization charges will not be applicable if the same format is used.

However, if there are major changes required in the existing quotation format which needs to be specifically developed as per your requirement then the standard customization charges will be applicable.

Question 2

Can we import our old and existing data of leads / quotations / orders into CRM software?

Accepted Answer

Please note that the new system needs to be used by considering the new data structure specifically of item specifications which is variable for each item category and each quotation. Your past data can be migrated to current software provided your past data is available as per data structure in new software.

However, if data structure is not matching in your exisiting database you need to work on the current data and provide modified past data which can be migrated to the current structure. We request you to study of your current data and check feasibility of providing excel sheets duly filled with your past data as per formats mentioned in attached excel sheets. (If you do not have specifications in existing database you can ignore the same and update rest of the data which is important from commercial perspective only.

Question 3

Can alerts be provided from CRM software? Will it go via Email / SMS / WhatsApp?

CRM has the facility to send trigger based alerts which can be sent as per the requirement. Example, Release of quote, creation of task, payment receipt entry, etc. These alerts are sent via Email, SMS and WhatsApp. The mode of sending these alrets can be decided by the client.

Does CRM act as mailbox?

Please note that Improsys CRM software acts as a trigger for the emails which are pushed from software. The configuration used for emailing is same as the configuration used while setting up a mail-client such as Outlook, but the CRM does not act as a mailbox which can receive, display and manage emails. The triggered mail however, can be seen in outbox of your email client.
